Effective Date: 09/01/2026

Welcome to the Texas Pest Control Academy (“TPCA”). These Terms and Conditions govern your purchase and use of online training courses offered through the Texas Pest Control Academy website.

By purchasing, registering for, or accessing a TPCA online training course, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms and Conditions.

Course Eligibility and Registration

TPCA online training courses are intended for individuals who are working for a pest control company and are working under the supervision of a Certified Applicator (CA), as required by applicable Texas laws and regulations.

By registering for a TPCA course, the student represents that they meet the eligibility requirements applicable to the course they are purchasing.

Students are responsible for providing accurate and complete registration information. TPCA reserves the right to cancel or suspend a student’s enrollment if the student does not meet applicable eligibility requirements or if registration information is inaccurate, fraudulent, or misleading.

Certified Applicator Number and Professional License Information

Where required for registration, students may be asked to provide their Certified Applicator (CA) number or other applicable professional license or identification number.

TPCA collects this information for purposes related to course registration, student records, course completion, certification, regulatory compliance, and administration of the training program.

TPCA will store this information as part of the student’s training record and will not sell or share a student’s professional license or Certified Applicator information with outside parties for marketing purposes.

TPCA may disclose such information when necessary to administer the training program, comply with applicable laws or regulations, respond to a lawful request, or as otherwise permitted or required by law.

One Person, One Course

Course access is provided to one individual student for each course purchased.

A course purchase may not be shared, transferred, assigned, resold, or otherwise made available to another individual.

Students may not share their username, password, login information, course materials, or course access with another person.

If TPCA determines that course access is being shared or misused, TPCA reserves the right to suspend or terminate the student’s access to the course without refund.

Course Access Period

Students will have access to the course for 90 days from the date of purchase.

At the end of the 90-day access period, access to the course will automatically terminate. Students are responsible for completing the course within the 90-day access period.

TPCA is not responsible for a student’s failure to complete a course before the expiration of the access period.

Quizzes, Exams and Retakes

Students who do not successfully complete a quiz or examination may retake the quiz or examination as many times as necessary during the student’s 90-day course access period, unless a specific course requirement states otherwise.

Students are responsible for completing all required quizzes, examinations, and other course requirements before their 90-day access period expires.

Course Materials

All course materials provided by TPCA, including videos, written materials, presentations, graphics, examinations, quizzes, and other educational content, are provided for the student’s personal educational use.

Course materials may not be copied, reproduced, recorded, distributed, sold, published, shared, or otherwise provided to another person without the prior written permission of TPCA.

Course Completion and Certificates

Students are responsible for completing all required portions of the course and meeting any applicable course requirements.

Where a certificate of completion is offered, the student must satisfy the requirements established by TPCA before a certificate will be issued.

Completion of a TPCA course does not, by itself, guarantee that a student will receive a license, certification, registration, or other credential from any governmental agency or licensing authority.

Students are responsible for understanding and satisfying all applicable licensing and regulatory requirements.

Texas Department of Agriculture and Continuing Education

TPCA courses are developed and maintained in compliance with applicable regulations and requirements enforced by the Texas Department of Agriculture (TDA).

Where applicable, TPCA courses qualify for training or education credit under the requirements established by TDA.

Students are responsible for meeting all applicable requirements for licensing, certification, continuing education, or other professional credentials.

TPCA does not guarantee that completion of a course will result in the issuance or renewal of a license or credential. Regulatory requirements may change, and students are responsible for complying with the requirements in effect at the time their license or credential is issued or renewed.

Refunds

Course purchases are generally considered final. However, TPCA understands that circumstances may arise that warrant consideration of a refund.

Refund requests will be considered on a case-by-case basis.

Submitting a refund request does not guarantee that a refund will be issued. TPCA will consider the circumstances of each request, including whether the student has accessed or completed portions of the course.

Any refund approved by TPCA will be issued using the payment method used for the original purchase, when reasonably possible.

Course Content

TPCA makes reasonable efforts to provide accurate and useful educational content. However, laws, regulations, licensing requirements, industry practices, and other information may change.

TPCA reserves the right to update, modify, or correct course content when appropriate.

Students are responsible for complying with current laws, regulations, and requirements applicable to their individual circumstances.

Student Conduct

Students are expected to use the TPCA website and courses appropriately and honestly.

Students may not:

  • Share course access or login information;
  • Allow another person to complete a course on their behalf;
  • Copy, distribute, or sell course materials;
  • Record course videos or other protected course content;
  • Attempt to circumvent course requirements or examinations;
  • Interfere with the operation or security of the TPCA website or course platform; or
  • Use TPCA course materials for commercial purposes without written permission.

TPCA reserves the right to suspend or terminate course access for violations of these Terms and Conditions.

Website and Technical Issues

TPCA makes reasonable efforts to keep its website and online training platform available and operational. However, TPCA cannot guarantee uninterrupted access.

Temporary interruptions may occur because of maintenance, technical problems, internet outages, third-party services, or circumstances outside TPCA’s control.

Students are responsible for maintaining a suitable internet connection and compatible device for accessing the online course.

Privacy and Student Information

TPCA respects the privacy of its students and takes reasonable steps to protect information collected through the registration and training process.

Information collected may include the student’s name, contact information, professional license or Certified Applicator number, course enrollment information, course progress, examination results, and certificate or completion information.

TPCA uses this information to administer courses, maintain student records, communicate with students, process registrations, document course completion, and meet applicable regulatory or administrative requirements.

TPCA does not sell student information or professional license information to outside parties for marketing purposes.

TPCA may disclose information when reasonably necessary to administer the training program, comply with applicable laws or regulations, respond to a lawful request, or as otherwise permitted or required by law.

Additional information regarding the collection and use of personal information may be provided in TPCA’s Privacy Policy.

Limitation of Liability

TPCA provides its online training courses for educational and informational purposes. To the extent permitted by law, TPCA shall not be responsible for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from a student’s use of, or inability to use, the website or online training courses.

Changes to These Terms

TPCA reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions from time to time. Any changes will be posted on the TPCA website.

The Terms and Conditions in effect at the time of a student’s purchase will generally govern that purchase, unless otherwise required by law.

Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
